For more than 70 years, at AFS International, we have been creating our swimwear collections reinterpreting the trends of the moment and putting people’s needs and desires at the center of the design. 1970: ON THE WAVE OF SUCCESS

The 70s are full of events and profound changes: the cultural revolution deeply marks society, therefore fashion. The sensual Farrah Fawcett appears for the first time on the covers of magazines around the world wearing a swimsuit with high-rise and dizzying neckline: it’s already legend. AFS International immediately grasped the importance of the phenomenon: the collections of those years became a success.

1980: ITALIAN DESIGN NEVER FAILS

In the 80s, the refinement of our Italian design, meeting the rising fashion rich in colors and new fabrics such as jeans and lurex, makes our creations more and more innovative: these are the years in which Made in Italy is experiencing a real boom, consolidating the union between Italy and Fashion.

1990: AN INTERNATIONAL PATH

In the 90s, the supermodel Eva Herzigova poses for the David advertising catalog: the brand thus acquires a largely international scope. AFS International has gone through the times and managed to be always the protagonist of the market: with more than 40 million items sold in more than 60 countries in the world, our offer

2000: THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES

In 2003 a new brand was born: Vacanze Italiane. The young, feminine and fashionable line, has been worn over the years by excellent testimonials such as Youma Diakite, Aída Yéspica and Belen Rodriguez. Since then, the adventure has been renewed every year with the launch of a new collection.

2010: THE FAMILY GROWS

Over the years AFS International has grown with new and exciting projects. In 2012, with the supermodel Joanna Krupa, makes its debut the Iconique beachwear line that complements the offer of swimwear with caftans, dresses and beach cover-ups. In 2016, from the collaboration with Miraclesuit, American company leader in the world of shaping swimwear, was born Miradonna by Miraclesuit with the mission to celebrate all kinds of female beauty.

2022: AFS INTERNATIONAL TODAY

Today AFS International is led by the third generation of the founding family: corporate harmony and family union are the fundamental principles of a reality satisfied by the entrepreneurial successes achieved, but always projected towards new goals. In fact, the group celebrates its 70th anniversary with the addition of the David Lovers and Vitamins by Vacanze Italiane lines to expand the market and reach the youngest target and with the acquisition of the Miradonna brand, becoming its sole owner.
